Stop Predatory Gambling reaches Taiwan

SPG was contacted in early August by the leader of a Taiwanese predatory gambling opposition group who was working to defeat a September 26th casino referendum in that country. They were looking for facts and talking points about predatory gambling to help educate the public.

They won. We admire the efforts of Gary Yeh and his colleagues in Taiwan, who like nearly all of us, were armed only with the truth and possessed severely limited resources, yet they still carried the day.

Predatory gambling is both a national and international issue which will become hotter in the years ahead. We believe the news from Taiwan is a sign of things to come.
