The Philadelphia City Paper ran an excellent story today about the growing movement to stop predatory gambling in that city that should be read by every concerned citizen across America.

All successful social movements have had four pieces: education, legislation, litigation and demonstration. All are important to bringing about change.

But the willingness of Philadelphia citizens to agitate for change through direct action has been a missing element to our cause and will help bring more national attention to the policy of state-sponsored predatory gambling.
