The Most Predatory Business in America Now Also Runs Its Own Coerce-The-Vote operation

When it comes to the nation’s elections and legislative process, the mantra for gambling interests has always been “Let Us Buy the Vote!”

But now, in its relentless quest to legalize internet gambling and with its Initial Public Offering looming, Harrah’s has now turned the traditional “Get-Out-the-Vote” effort into a “Coerce the Vote” effort.

Recent reports by The National Review and a column by Hans von Spakovsk, a former Federal Election Commission commissioner and Justice Department official, revealed Harrah’s coerced its employees to vote for a specific candidate in Nevada.

The government program of predatory gambling is failed public policy and it escapes scrutiny solely because of the spending and tactics used by predatory gambling interests.
