Students at Otago Polytechnic challenged the government policy of predatory gambling during what they called a “down-to-earth” demonstration. They were particularly interested in highlighting electronic gambling machines, the most extreme form of predatory gambling because they are highly addictive and play a major role in pushing citizens into deeper debt. There's more on the way
As the movement against the failed policy of predatory gambling continues to grow, I think you’ll see a lot more protest, especially by students. Savannah College of Art would be a good place to start.
Maybe in the fall
School is out for the summer but the fall would be possible. I think there is an appetite to bring change here on this issue.
