Huge push for predatory gambling expansion dies in Illinois

On the heels of the powerful 60 Minutes segment that aired this past Sunday night, a massive bill to expand predatory gambling during a lame duck session of the Illinois Legislature went down to defeat. You can read the news report here.

Stop Predatory Gambling’s Tom Grey and John Alan Boryk along with Illinois Citizen Action Program Executive Director Anita Bedell were pivotal in helping to educate the public about why Illinois should not become the number one predatory gambling state. Through their selfless work, they did their part to move their state and our country back in the right direction.
